International Light carries several instrument systems designed for use in measuring optical radiation hazard.

The IL1730 and IL1430 UV Actinic Radiometer Systems have been specifically designed for easy and accurate Threshold Limit Value (TLV) measurements in the recently updated UV Actinic wavelength range, as developed by ACGIH and recommended by NIOSH and ICNIRP. The detectors in both systems give the correct weighting to the various wavelengths so the system reads directly in Effective W/cm2.

SED(SEL)033/TBLU/SCS395/R:

This "blue Hazard" matches the ACGIH Blue Hazard function (410 to 510 nm), and conforms to eye simulation requirements.
Dynamic Range: 2 x 10-8 to 4 W/cm2/sr.
Spectrum: 370 to 515 nm.

SED(SEL)240/NS254/W:

This Mercury LIne detector measures narrow band irradiance at 254 nm, the output of most low pressure Hg lamps. Narrow band filters are available for other mercury lines, including 297 nm.

SED(SEL)007/W:

This InGaAs "IR-A Hazard" probe measures IR radiation from 800 to 1700 nm, with a near flat response across the entire range. This probe offers nearly 1000 times the sensitivity of the SED623 thermopile.

SED(SEL)623/SCS695/W:

This Multijunction Thermopile detector measures IR Hazard radiation out to 2100 nm.
Spectral Range: 675 to 2100 nm, flat response.
Dynamic Range: 6 x10-5 to 0.5 W/cm2
