The new TREC 1600 is the world's only radiometer than can actually control the precise exposure (dose) of irradiation in research, medical, and production applications. A full featured radiometer, in the tradition of the industry standard IL1400, it offers the widest dynamic range and sensitivity of any handheld radiometer. Coupled with International Light's extensive range of detectors and fore optics, it is adaptable to virtually any radiometric application.

The TREC 1600 uniquely offers direct control of lamps through its power relay or it can be easily integrated into a wide range of interfaces for both power and shutter control. With integration times extending to months, and and internal battery backup system, it is ideal for controlling photostability, solar simulation, and weathering experiments.
